Heat Pumps
Heat pumps offer an energy-efficient alternative to furnaces and air conditioners for all climates. Like your refrigerator, heat pumps use electricity to transfer heat from a cool space to a warm space, making the cool space cooler and the warm space warmer. During the heating season, heat pumps move heat from the cool outdoors into your warm house. During the cooling season, heat pumps move heat from your house into the outdoors. Because they transfer heat rather than generate heat, heat pumps can efficiently provide comfortable temperatures for your home.

“Papa-Grant saved us again! On the coldest day of this year our old furnace quit working. We phoned Pap-Grant to get it repaired. They were onsite within a couple of hours. Although our 48 year old furnace may have been repairable we decided to upgrade to a new energy efficient furnace. “We used Papa Grant to install a ductless AC unit in our condominium complex where connecting to our internal furnace and air flow was not practical. They quoted and installed for us a Daikin AC unit which was installed on our deck and has turned our very warm condo unit into a marvel of cool air for the hot days we have since experienced this summer. The Daikin unit is very quiet and has functioned very well to keep our entire living space cool with much less noise that running portable AC units. Papa Grant was able to do the install in a single day including running a new 220V electrical circuit from the back of our fourplex condo to the front through the attic crawl space.
